There are certain things that I am really good at, and there are other things that I know are best left to other people. Accounting is one of those things. I have a fairly large cafe that does more business than I ever could have imagined. It is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and there is rarely a time when it is not filled up. I tried my hand at bookkeeping at first, but I knew pretty early on that I would need to look at cafe accountants to help me out with things.

I am an expert when it comes to design and implementation, whether it is the menu, the setting, or even the attire of the employees. I can do basic bookkeeping, but it does take me time. I am the type of person who likes to use my time wisely, so I did not want to waste hours doing what would take an expert a fraction of the time. I was not worried about paying someone else either because I was already losing time, which means I am losing money too since the two go hand in hand with one another.

I did not know what type of bookkeeper I wanted. I did not have a private office space where I would be able to set someone up. Truth be told, I was not sure I needed to have someone in office anyway. While there is definitely a lot to be done, I just did not know that I needed to have a dedicated space for someone. I ended up hiring an accounting firm that does everything through the cloud, so that freed up not only time and resources but actual space in my cafe too! I am completely happy with how this firm handles all my bookkeeping needs because it gives me the time I need to continue growing my business.
